St.Ives Hotel, Lytham St.Annes - Day 7 - 05/08
Travelling down from Scotland to Lancashire as we wanted to visit Southport, family geneology to check out.
We stayed in a very seaside town, was nice.
We had to park on the very wide main road as the carpark was too small for our van.
The reception was large and welcoming, we were told where our room was.
Andy had to then wheel me up a steep narrow corridor to the room. I could not have managed this again on my own, why does it seem that the location of my room is always the afterthought.
The bedroom did have a fair amount of space in and the storage space was all accessable.
The bathroom was clean and adequate, although it was a shame that i could not use the shower area, as the lady explained to us that someone had forgotten to fix a seat in there.
Ah well what i was hoping for, at least it was only booked for 1 night.
